L'Oreal Brandstorm 2022

L'Oreal Brandstorm is a worldwide innovation competition where groups of three participants work together to create a unique solution for a problem. Brandstorm 2022's theme is "Disrupt Beauty," and my team chose to follow the Diversity and Inclusion Track. The competition is currently in progress.

We were inspired by the people and communities around us. From seeing elderly still want to use the same makeup products they had when they were young to people with visual impairments who turn to social media to share personal solutions they have created in order to use a product, it is impossible to ignore the lack of support for people with disabilities and impairments by the beauty industry.
​
Disability is the largest minority, yet they lack representation in the beauty community. We want to create products that are accessible and inclusive to empower people with disabilities by giving them access to the products and services they may want or need to express their beauty in the best way possible.
